Original Handpainted Contemporary Horse Oil Painting Portrait With Gold Leaf

his unique piece of art showcases a beautiful horse portrait, hand-painted by me on a gold leaf gilded canvas. The painting measures 30cm in length and 30cm in height, with a width of 3cm.

I first began this artwork by carefully gilding the canvas with gold leaf and then coating the gold leaf in a clear protective gloss. I then used high quality Windsor and newton oil paints to create the horse portrait.
